The NAO is currently able to offer four types of Private Finance workshop:

Managing PFI relationships to achieve success

Over 25 project teams have already attended this popular workshop focussing on PFI relationships. Each workshop is limited to eight to ten people, normally from one individual project team.

Those attending previous workshops have said:

“Working in a small group allowed coherent focussed discussion…”

“We have a much better understanding now of the relationship issues inherent in PFI…”

“Excellent event. Allowed us to refocus on our engagement with the private sector and to plan ahead.”

The workshops feature speakers from both the public and private sectors who have extensive experience of managing PFI contracts. Those attending also hear from an expert on business relationships and teamwork skills. The workshops allow time for the team attending to explore specific issues on their project affecting their relationships with the private sector and their own internal teamwork. Public sector project teams may choose whether to attend on their own or with their private sector partners.
